EMP Dinner: 4 Courses plus Duck or Tasting Menu?
We're going for a celebratory dinnner. My husband loves duck and I'm wondering should we order the 4 courses plus an additional course of the duck or do the tasting menu? Thanks for your advice.

Hi daisy. I actually just went to emp on friday for lunch, and it was really amazing. They really have stepped it up -- once again. I am planning on going to dinner there sometime in june, and i believe i will get the tasting menu. I feel like the extra 60 or so dollars for the tasting menu is worth it. Given that you are going to spend the money and that you are already there, you might as well go all out. If you do get the tasting menu, perhaps you could request the duck for one of your courses. You should probably ask them when you make the reservation if this would be possible. If this doesn't end up working out, the 5 course alternative will be plenty. Enjoy your meal!

I am having lunch at EMP in a month, and am wondering if we should order the duck also. Pictures of the duck look amazing.

Actually logged into opentable at 530 Am before work and reservations appeared to be all gone (said no reservations available, instead of not open) called at 9AM and got a reservations 28 days in advance, open table opens at 9AM they said. Duck looks amazing, for pictures on the net, also may order the souflee in advance.
