San Antonio Recommendations

  • 5

Going to San Antonio next weekend. Looking for good tex mex/mexican restaurant. We will be staying around the River Walk. Looking for more hole in the wall than upscale. Good food number one. Not one of the tourist trap restaurants. Safe location as my group will be around 15 college age girls.

Thanks for any help.

  1. I'm not much of a fan but for a big group I would say Mexican Manhattan would fit the bill.

Mexican Manhattan would do the trick for me. There are no hole in the walls on the Riverwalk. Try Tito's near the King William area for very good breakfasts and lunches.

It's not a huge group. Only 15 people. The restaurant doesn't have to be on the Riverwalk that's just where they are staying. They will have cars, so would be willing to drive. Just looking for really good tex-mex and margaritas.

          I would suggest La Fogata.

La Fogata is a fun place. La Fonda on N Main is very good. They usually have an off the menu special
