Nasty frozen strawberry lemonade at McD's...

Tried the above-referenced abomination at McD's yesterday - if you, like me, used to love to sneak spoonfuls of lemonade concentrate when you were a kid, and, unlike me, still enjoy doing so, you have found your dream beverage. It is eyewateringly sweet and saccharin-ish bitter, and the strawberry part is like liquefied strawberry jam. I love slushy drinks and was hoping that this one might be tasty. Nope, nasty, nasty, nasty.

I had a free coupon so I decided to make a rare non-coffee trip to McD's and try it. I agree w/ everyone else - absolutely horrible.

If I were a drinker - yeah, that would probably make it a lot better!

I think it would just taste like the world's worst frozen margarita, if all of it is as nasty as what I had. Waste of the booze.

I don't know, jnky. Even with the tequila, I think it would still taste like nasty fake strawberry syrup with a dash of frozen lemon slush. I tried mix the syrup and the slush to make it taste better, but that was a big FAIL, too. Never again.

I got one about a week ago, hoping for that spoonful of lemonade concentrate taste....and it was awful! Mine had almost no lemon flavor, just awfully bitter with the syrupy sweetness of the stawberries at the bottom. Yuck!

I agree. It was nasty. They put a pump squirt of strawberry syrup in the bottom of a cup and then glopped in some frozen lemonade that was way too sweet.
