Ciano or Tocqueville for dinner for two?

We have reservations at both and are undecided. Please help!

    Never been to Tocq but Ciano is amazing!

      The problem with this question is that it depends what you are looking for. What specifically is keeping you undecided? Ciano is obviously Italian and Toqueville is French/New American. Tocqueville is a bit more expensive. The ambience at Tocqueville is formal and sedate, while at Ciano it is livelier, though not offensively loud, and more casual. Both are extraordinary so you really can't go wrong with either.
