It's not very good. The sushi was amateurish --- overly large slices and had a slightly fishy taste to it. Better than a supermarket, but I wouldn't call it decent. Maybe some of the rolls are better if you like that sort of thing.

re: lipoff
for an area with plenty of foot traffic, restaurants fare terribly in this intersection. that storefront has been a tea house, a bagel/breakfast place and an ice cream place, the C. tsars on the corner has been at least five places since i moved from the south end in the 90's, hell even the KFC across the street went down in spite of the fact that it is within 500 meters of a high school with 2500 teenage students. not sure why, haunted?

I was there this winter, for dinner. I had a soup, it was ok, as well as my salad. My dc had sushi, she said it was v. good. I like the space. My husband's lamb was salty, nothing too exciting. I usually go to Lam's for Thai, when I'm dining in that area. I haven't eaten at T. Tsar's , except to have their version of pizza, which was toppings on pita baked to cracker consistency. Not my thing.
