One special grad night in San Fran for a French and Vegetarian group - suggestions

Sister_Dogass May 5, 2011 10:29 AM

My roommate and I will be having our grad dinner May 20 and I would like any suggestions on the following restaurants we have narrowed-in on. Price isn't an issue. However, we have a group mixed with Paris natives and vegetarians. We figured that Italian food would be the safest bet for all of us.

Please let me know your opinion on the following options, and if you'd chose one over the other!

Americano Restaurant and bar - embarcadero http://www.americanorestaurant.com/gallery.html#

Commonwealth - Mission St.: http://commonwealthsf.com/menus#a-la-carte

Beretta - Mission District: http://www.yelp.com/biz/beretta-san-francisco#query:Beretta

Sons & Daughters - Powell and Mason Streets: http://www.yelp.com/biz/sons-and-daug... I heard the 4-course taster menu is a must try before ordering.

I would choose Perbacco over any of those restaurants. Italian and veggie-friendly like you request. If you do a quick search of this board you will see it is just about the most recommended restaurant in SF in the past year or so.

One Market is more New American, also very tasty, also explicitly vegetarian friendly.
