Ramps on the Danforth

Any chance I can pick up some Ramps somewhere on the Danforth today? If not, where else is a good place to find them right now?

Thanks in advance!

  1. A bit of a hike but you may want to try one of these markets:

If you buy, ask where they came from and you'll see the problem.

      1. The Big Carrot had ramps on Saturday.

        1. Dufferin Grove farmer's market is supposed to have them today

          1. st lawrence market has them, 2 bucks a bunch

I think that's only at the north market on Sat's no?

Thanks everyone! I picked up a few bunches of about 6-8 for $3.99/bunch at The Big Carrot. I'm sure they can be had elsewhere cheaper or free, but this was conveniently right on my way home.

oie, the ramps my GF got for me from SLM are the white stemmed ones... dont taste as good as the red for some reason...

The white stemmed one's probably aren't ramps, they are either "green garlic" or some other wild allium.

hmm there r a bunch of red stems with them too, but mostly white... googling just says that both are ramps, but the red ones have more flavour... not sure though, dont see much info on the white stem "ramps"... they are labelled as ramps in slm though.
