There is a place called Pho 2000 or something similar on Lyons Ave. If you are heading from I-5 to Newhall, on Lyons Ave., it's on your right. I have not been , don't know anything about the food. If you try it, please report back.

Being a purveyor of Pho and all foods in general, by any means DO NOT GO to Pho 2000. I've probably been to 20 different pho places and by far this place takes the Gold Ribbon in Rock Stew.
The place takes 15 minutes for your pho to come out, and stock is made from powder stock not real beef bones or star anise or anything a real Vietnamese restaurant would use. Their food is extremely overpriced (around $7-9 a bowl) with corny names like "superbowl" and everything is very bland and improperly prepared. No surprise this place shuts down in a year or so, they've become so desperate that the Korean owners started adding things to the menu like Korean soon-tofu. To top it all off, this place has no air conditioning so during the summer, they have 3 fans running with flies coming from every corner of the valley.
Save yourself the the trouble, drive the extra 10 minutes to the valley and go to Pho 999 on Sherman Way and Reseda or off Victory from the 405.
On a historical note, this place use to be a Tommies, the knock-off burger joint that imitates by every means of Tommy's. Oh the irony...
