Lunch in Shem Creek - Red's vs. Vickery's vs Shem Creek Bar & Grill

bawlmeroryuls May 4, 2011 12:35 PM

Looking for a low-key lunch outside on a deck overlooking the water in the Shem Creek/Mt. Pleasant area. Preferably with a nice cold beverage or three.

Seems like the options that fit the bill are Red's, Vickery's and Shem Creek Bar and Grill.

Which one is best?

None of them will be bad! The food at Shem Creek is probably the best of the 3, Red's is great for a bar atmosphere and Vickery's has decent food and great views. I was just at Vickery's on Saturday. The grouper sandwich was a hit with my crowd, as were the Blue Moons.

You are very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. Was Albert the famous oyster shucker working during your visit? He is amazing.
