Maple Tree Country Cafe on Spring Mountain Road (a few miles from the strip) is under new ownership and we were there this past weekend. Happy to report that the menu has been expanded and the staff is excellent. Omelets, Oatmeal Pancakes, and Benedicts were all good but the standout was the Country Fried Steak. It was hand-breaded and delicous and the gravy (we get it on the side) was good too. Home fries were excellent as they managed to get them crispy but not greasy. They were kinda like healthy homefries.

Highly recommend that you stop in soon if you haven't been here for a while.

New to the menu were Red Velvet pancakes but we haven 't tried them yet.
"Maple Glazed Apple Fritter" sounded like a winner but fell flat as it was very soft and soggy and tasted like it had been fried and later microwaved.
