LTK coming to scarsdale!!
I have mixed feelings i love the LTK in greenwich.Im afraid that the location of this one by the train station is a death sentence. If this one is half as good as the other LTKs and remain byob. They should outlive the jinx

I just spoke to the owner on site. Says he is planning on opening on May 30th. If you are in the area, try to support the place or it will be out of business in a blink.

The massive and delayed construction killed nearly every business on the Popham Road side of the Scarsdale train station. The restaurant which previously was in the LTK space -- Rich Chinese -- was a very good takeout place.
I think you have to be absolutely nuts to open any business there until that construction is done.
FYI -- the designers of that mini-"shopping center" must have been high when they designed it and the village of Scarsdale board must have been drugged when they approved it. The foot traffic potential of that whole spot is pretty slim, especially on the Popham Road side. CitiBabes already closed up shop there. All'Antica is under "new management," but God knows why, and there is plenty of unleased space there. The construction put a few places out of business there. I don't think I've ever had more than one person stand in front of me on line at that CVS. What kind of Kool Aid were all these people drinking?

I totally agree. But I would like to have a thai place there since there are not many other thai options.
Not sure I agree on the construction killing Citibabes, though, since it's not the kind of place that gets foot traffic. I think it was more like the $2,000 membership fee that killed it!

re: Maryld
It seems that the entire bridge over the Metro North track is being replaced.. I haven't seen any projected completion date.
I miss Rich--the restaurant that was in the new LTK space. But I am glad to have another option in the area.
Now if they would only put a turn signal at the intersection by the Metro Diner.... but that is getting off topic.
