Sucrine lettuce

does Any one know where I can find "sucrine lettuce" in the New York - New Jersey area. Had it in Paris last week and I Can not wait for the seeds to grow I want it now. thanks for any help you can give.

    Northshire Farm will have it this Saturday at Union square market...across from the coffee shop.

      For the rest of New York City (boroughs outside Manhattan) and NJ you'll need to post on the appropriate non-Manhattan boards.

      For Manhattan sources, check the Greenmarkets. In the past Mountain Sweet Berry (Union Square Weds and Sat) has carried it. You can actually reach out to the Greenmarkets directly via Twitter; the accounts are pretty quick to respond.

        Rick Bishop sells it at Union Square Market -- Saturdays and Wednesdays (I think).
