Looking for a fine dining in west area

I am looking for a good, fine dining restaurant that is located in Cambridge, Guelph, Burlington, or Oakville...I am taking parents out for dinner and I'd like it to be 4 star or thereabouts.
Somewhere that has really to-die-for food would be great, even if the decor is not optimum....any hidden gems out there? Tend to lean towards traditional fine dining but some innovation is great..just no yak steaks or way out there stuff...
Thanks a bunch foodies!!

Absolutely no question that Blacktree is the best restaurant in the area you defined. Close second would be Quatrefoil. Just be aware that the price points at these restaurants are high but worth every penny for a fine culinary experience. Blacktree tends to present dishes that are a bit more fusion cooking (on the creative side... think unusual combinations and foams) whereas Quatrfoil tends more toward traditional french cooking. Cannot go wrong with either one.

Envers of Morriston (In Morriston right near the 401 off Hwy 6 south.) In my experience the best food you can find in the tri cities on a consistent basis.
