happy hour in Costa Mesa

Looking for a good happy hour in Costa Mesa area. None of the places at the Lab or Camp seem to do a happy hour. Can anyone help with suggestions?

We ended up going to Mesa. Probably spent more than we should on really just okay food and $10 glasses of wine!

I actually like Z Tejas' happy hour, but I've done it a lot, so was looking for other suggestion. I noticed Ecco's bar specials last time I was there, but couldn't find any mention of it on their website. We are also considering Mesa's $20 menu. I think we're going to just stroll around the camp and compare what they have with Valhalla's menu. I'd love to try Pizzeria Ortica just to compare it with Ecco, but we're looking for something at 6:30. Glad to have what I was thinking about confirmed!

It's only my opinion, and others on this site will disagree, but I think that ECCO's pizza is vastly superior to that at Ortica...and also the service is way better at ECCO. Sitting at the bar and ordering from ECCO's bar menu never disappoints!

Might be more elaborate than you had in mind, but I believe that Mesa in the Camp offers a 3 course meal plus wine or beer for $20 from 6-8.

ECCO at the Camp doesn't call it a HH, but with their reduced price bar menu it's pretty much the same thing. Good pizzas, snacks, etc.at lower prices.

Memphis does a pretty good one. And Kitsch (on Bear and Baker) does a later one, from 8-10 p.m. (Drinks only at Kitsch. They don't serve food.)

Look at Charlie Palmers at Bloomingdales at South Coast Plaza. Good food especially the sliders and an interesting cocktail list and huge wine list.

I just looked at thier website and it doesn't list thier happy hour but I'm sure they still have one. I would give them a call for details but last couple of times I went it was good quality small plates and nice cocktails.

Pizzeria Ortica on Anton has happy hour from 3-6 and then 8-10 Monday through Friday. Discounted drinks and pizzas.

Memphis Cafe and Bar on Bristol 3-6:30 and then 9:30 to midnight.

Z Tejas, I know it's a chain but has happy hour and throwing out ideas.
