Bachelorette Party Heading to Miami: Need Hip/Semi-Affordable Suggestions please!
Hi Esteemed Food Minds,
I'm the maid of honor in my best friends wedding and we're holding her bachelorette in South Beach this summer. I'm looking for hip/trendy yet *delicous* places for a group of approximately 10 girls to go that aren't through-the-roof expensive since we'll need to share the wealth between two dinner outings. In my opinion, the quality of the food & meal are more important than scene, but... it's Miami Beach after all - gotta have it!
All suggestions are welcome, even if they are on the higher end - if it's worth it, we can splurge one night and scale down the second night! (Read good things about Azul and STK and Blue Door Fish which also seem a bit $$$).
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Sushi Samba or Meat Market on Lincoln Road. Both are $$$ on a scale of $-$$$$ but can get to $$$$ easily. However, both are great as hip/trendy/sexy spots. After you can go to the aforementioned Haven (coworker having her bday party there this wknd so I'll report back) or let loose at RokBar or Florida Room. These clubs are a little on the pricey side for drinks but if you're a bachelorette party you should be able to find some guys to foot the bill for a few rounds. If not, remember this - it's your friends bachelorette party in Miami Beach...live a little and spend the money!

If you are going to pay that much, I would do zuma over all of these. Nobu is still a good bachelorette party choice as is bond st. All of these choices are expensive.
Going more modest
Sugarcane - it is really the only sceney, yet modestly priced place with very good food that I can think of.
Opa - is a popular place for bachelorette parties. Fun, decent food. Good scene. Not expensive.
If that Haven place ends up being good it might be perfect for a bachelorette party. It opens soon unless what Frod said about $17 drinks is true, then mark it in the expensive category.
Asia de Cuba - not great food, pretty expensive but great friday night scene. I would eat outside at asia during sunset and hang around for the party afterwards.
You might consider limiting your search to South Beach if you don't want the hassle of transporting 10+ girls around town (kind of a buzz kill). As TP mentioned, a goofy night of dancing on the tables and mezze small plates at Taverna Opa South Beach is a popular bachelorette party destination. Nearby find ROOM - a chill bar at 100 Collins or Pre-Game at Monty's at the marina 300 Alton Rd. (do NOT do dinner at Monty's but definitely half priced happy hour as the sun sets 4-8pm) and then Opa and then Room (or Abraxas on Meridian).
If the bride might prefer a wine tasting and tapas - check out Wine Depot/ Bistro 555 http://www.winedepotmiami.com/ or hit Fratelli la Bufala for a few bottles of vino and the "La Bufalata" appetizer platter which is one of my favorite things for a group night out. http://www.flbmiami.com/menu.html
You might also consider Burger & Beer Joint on the west side of town were there are meat, fish and veggie options, a rocking soundtrack and 99 bottles of beer (provided your girls aren't the "oooh I'll just have a salad" type). Nearby - find Purdy lounge for a flip flops wearing locals vibe.
TP> I have to say the creepy advance photos of HAVEN on UD look like they bought the discarded sets from TRON 3D. More money than taste...
