Hi Where can I buy "dry" scallops in Philadelphia? Thanks, Connie
We go to Dean Choice Foods for non-water logged scallops. 18 East Baltimore Avenue, Clifton Heights, PA 19018-2301(610) 259-2909
Seafood Unlimited (270 s. 20th) has amazing big, sweet dry scallops. It's both a restaurant and a fish market.
Philly Lobster in Wynnewood
if you mean 'dry-packed' scallops, i believe whole foods scallops are all dry-packed. you can just ask them to make sure. also, the lancaster farmer's market in wayne also sells dry-packed scallops.
Weavers Way in Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill carry them.
Ippolito's on 13th and Dickinson has them.
+1 for Ippy's. I think they also carry dry at the seafood place in the Reading Terminal closest to Downtown Diner
