where is Manhattan's best Lasagna?

I had some great lasagna recently while travelling in Northern italy. Homemade egg noodles, bechamel on top, delicious meat, just delicious. Has anyone had any good lasagna in Manhattan?
The best so far was at Osteria Morini, a Michael White restaurant. and it was the real deal.
Cinque wasn't bad, Mezzagiorno was just OK. But I am on a search for the best lasagna in Manhattan.

  1. Salumeria Rosi has a very good lasagna with pork and beef ragu and b├ęchamel. Lincoln used to serve a mushroom lasagna which I liked a lot, but I haven't seen it on the menu lately.

I've had that eggplant lasagna at the 'inoteca on 3rd Avenue. Indeed, it is delicious.

I agree with you about Maialino's lasagna. BUT it was taken off the menu a while ago.

I highly recommend USC's Lasagna alla Bolognerse with a Sunny Side Up Knoll Crest Egg.

I agree with the Via Emilia recommendation. Lasagna is not a huge favorite of mine, but theirs is delicious.
