Looking for inexpensive but good restaurant / gastro-pub for boys lax team

13 yr old boy lax team playing in Fishtown late Saturday afternoon and looking to have early dinner afterwards (assume approx 15). Did Taconelli's last year. Welcome thoughts - Memphis Tap Room - understand they have the dog bar outside now? Anywhere else?

Standard Tap, or the new place in the Piazza, Gunner's Run. If it's nice, you could sit outside there. Or at PYT in the Piazza. I don't love El Camino Real, but that might work for your group.

Love the Tap - but too "couped" up for the boys, but great idea re the Piazza... fingers crossed - always helps with teenage boys.

How much seating is available at PYT or Gunner's run? Could they accommodate at group of 20-25 or so if given enough word (even if the group is split across 2 -4 tables)?

and how is the parking at The Piazza? Decent/Interesting enough place to hang out for an hour after dinner on a sat night? thanks

PYT probably couldn't do that many, but Gunner's Run might be able to. There is a free parking lot at the Piazza and a large TV. Easy to hang if the weather's nice. El Camino Real might be able to do that size with some advance warning too.

What about the new Frankford Hall... german style beer garden. long tables. You order at a a walk up window. German style food. Should be able to accomodate a large group.
