Buttermilk Channel question

I wanted to try this place tomorrow night (Tuesday) around 8, but they don't take reservations and I'm not prepared to wait more than 5 minutes. There will be 3 of us. Can someone who goes there or walks by often advise--might we get a table?

if you're serious about getting a table within 5 minutes--ore even 15 or 20 minutes--you have pretty much no chance. That said, if you want a good meal, there are some good bars around to kill some some time, and it's worth it.

Thanks! Yes--not prepared to wait (well 10 minutes would be OK.) I had hoped maybe Tuesdays were slow. I resent this Brooklyn no-reservations trend. It seems very...second-city.

For whatever it's worth, it'd be hard for me to count the number of times I've had a reservation in Manhattan (or elsewhere) and had to wait 30+ minutes.
These no-reservations places are generally relatively small and almost always have tremendously long lines (I've heard 3 hour waits at multiple places).I'm not really sure why many people would wait, but people do and it's better for the restaurants because they never have no-shows or empty tables.
