Wings and beer at Bloor and Brunswick: St. Louis vs. Puck n' Wings?

Will be going for wings and beer with some friends in Bloor and Brunswick area, noticed when driving by that there's a St. Louis and a place called Puck n' Wings in the same block. Any recommendations from chowhounders on which of the two we should hit up?

St Louis franchises are generally pretty bad, so just about anything's got to be better.

I agree...St louis wings are the smallest I 've seen and nothing great taste wise....haven't been to Puck but a couple of colleagues love that place...

For variety go to Puck n' Wings. They have something like 50 different flavors. If you're just planning on getting hot wings, I like St. Louis better.

Massive wings too..... great spot! I However, I don't appreciate the fact that they charge you extra if you want to stay and watch UFC.

I have had great success at Puck n Wings. Of the 5 times or so I have been there, the wings have been excellent 4 times and above average the other time. A good friend of mine who is a wing fanatic also tends to like the wings at Puck n Wings over most in the city.
