Left Over Farmer Cheese

I bought a 3 lb block of farmer cheese to make a pashka for Easter. I only needed 2 lb for the pashka so now I have about a lb left.

If you had this in *your* fridge, what would you do with it?

  1. Use as a filling for pierogi or blintzes.
Use as a pizza topping (I like it with onions, roasted veggies and no sauce)
In mac n cheese (as one of the cheeses)
Smeared on toast and topped with white fish, salmon or jam
Or in a puff pastry with some gauva paste

Blintzes.. YUM! That's what I'd do.

      1. I love it mixed with buttered noodles (particularly extra-wide egg noodles).
It's the comfort food of my childhood.

        1. Blintzes, pierogis, maybe a sort of kugel...

          1. My grandmother used to make this great dip. 1 lb. of famer's cheese, 1 block of cream cheese, and herbs to taste. I use cilantro, green onions and some hot sauce to taste. It may sometimes need a few drops of milk to make it creamy. Serve with crackers, pita bread, veggies, etc..
