oxtail curry or stew

I know its spring, but I found a whole oxtail yesterday and had it cut for me and would love to make an oxtail curry. Does anyone have a good recipe - I was thinking with ginger, lemongrass and garlic...

This isn't a oxtail curry but a braised oxtail. It has the ginger, lemongrass and garlic you're looking for though. If it doesn't have to be a curry specifically, I'd give this recipe a try:

So I made a vindaloo style curry, but added some xtra aromatics and added some extra sweetness from a south African chutney called mrs balls chutney. My chicken curry recipe I've used for years calls for it, and since I've always eaten it with curry there is no substitute. It was very flavorful. I will try this braised oxtail with Asian flavours next time, it sounds delicious.

What style of curry? Muslim South Asia, Thai, Chinese, Jamaican (most likely)?

I love oxtail. I don't have a recipe with ginger, lemongrass and garlic though. I've never made an oxtail curry. But I would imagine that if it worked with beef, it will work with oxtail.

I'm thinking something like a thai red curry would be amazing.
