Shake Shack May 2011 Flavors - Any Must-Haves?
Monday: Strawberry Blonde
Tuesday: Cinnamon Almond Dulce
Wednesday: Fromage Blanc Raspberry Swirl
Thursday: Thin Mint
Friday: Mud Pie
Saturday: Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel
Sunday: Red Velvet
This month looks a lot weaker than April unfortunately.
P.S. It is really weak they brought back Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel so fast (march flavor). It was nothing special.

I'm happy the flavors are not as intriguing as the ones in April. I'm only in Manhattan for about 4 days in May.

re: tpigeon
does it taste much like red velvet, though? i made sure i got pancakes & bacon yesterday, but today is a new day, and i need another fix. while the pancake flavor was lacking, there was good bacon flavor/pieces so that it wasn't tasting of just vanilla custard. is this the case for red velvet as well?
my other option is to head to momofuku milk bar (EV), although the flavors on the webpage are inaccurate as they actually only had the crack pie and cereal milk flavors on friday. so i had crack pie (yummy), but i wanted to try the grasshopper pie soft serve as well.

re: ellenost
They are! It's raspberry lemonade in the East Village location & blackberry-kaffir lime in Midtown.

I haven't had this months batch, but in the past it had a heavy red velvet taste, much like if they crumbled a food coloring heavy slice of cake into their standard custard. If you like red velvet cake, this is one of their more successful and accurate tasting flavors.
