Good luck. I have yet to find any place that even comes close! Most are clumpy, or cold or flavourless. I wouldn't mind knowing myself. Once you have been to the Southern States and had the original, it is hard to find anything close here. :)

I'm from Alabama & I've lived here for 7 years. I have had no luck finding biscuits and gravy in Calgary.

Sadly, biscuits and gravy don't exist in Calgary. Nor does a decent chicken fried steak.

I ended going to Chili's last week for Tex Mex and thinking they didn't suck nearly as much as memory tells me they do.

Sometimes we have to make some compromises to survive without some of the regional foods of other areas.

I know it's not the same - but had a great Bison short ribs with a fresh biscuit at open range.

I've never seen biscuits and gravy in Calgary, however, it's dead simple to make at home and ingredients are easy to find here.

Just a reminder that recipes are off topic for local boards. If you'd like to post a recipe for Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, please do so over on the Home Cooking Board and post a link here.
