Saturday night Food Trucks

I have company here and they want to go hit food trucks tomorrow night, Saturday. Where can I take them in the Los Angeles, Hollywood, to Santa Monica area? I want to see if we can hit a few of them tomorrow night. We plan a hitting El Chato at Olympic and La Brea, what others can I go that gives them a good variety? TIA

Thanks everyone. Burgerboy we went to Mexical Taco and Co., saturday night. We got there around midnight. The food was great, it was nice and quiet and it was a beautiful night out. We sat at the table under the stars, and enjoyed the food.
Next, we went to El Chato, one of our usual haunts. I tried something new for me, the lengua taco, it was absolutely delicious. I ususally don't eat tongue out, but decided to try it, we all loved it.
We ended up at Leo's, where my friend got the pork on the spit with the pineapple, he loved it.
We didn't get home til 2a.m., and had a great time. Our friends from Hawaii, have never experienced this, so they loved it.
All my other friends think hubby and I are nuts going to all these places, at the times we do, and where they are located.
Saturday night was just what we all needed after a grueling week.

El Chato is a good call, also hit Leo for the Al Pastor a few blocks south at La Brea and Venice.

Heading west you start going more fancy truck than classic truck, if that's what you're looking for then Saturday night you're likely to find a few on Sawtelle and also at the Brig on Abbot Kinney in Venice. Best bet would be hit http://www.foodtrucksmap.com/la/ and hit the "coming soon" option before you start the night.

Probably a lot better options in the more traditional vein if you go East (like Mexicali already mentioned) but I'll let someone more knowledgeable than me chime in there.

I would check out Mexical Taco & Co. Be sure to try the Vampiro & Cachatada. Their Carne Asada is the best.

Normally we see a good line up of them on Sawtelle just north of Olympic. There is the Ruben's taco truck in the same spot every night (starting around 8 PM and going until 3 AM) on Santa Monica Blvd. just a couple of blocks west of Barrington on the N side of the street as well.
