Are you looking for a butcher that sells sweetbreads, or a restaurant that prepares them?

My local standard for the latter is still Il Terrazzo Carmine, but I had a very good plate of sweetbreads at Cuoco a couple of weeks ago that has me reconsidering.

You can purchase sweetbreads at Don & Joe's at the market. Il Terrazo's are wonderful; The Book Bindery offers them along with one of the best Foie Gras appetizers I have ever experienced.

They are usually on the menu at Spring Hill. Lark too.

Thanks, but had an underwhelming experience at Nell's, not planning on returning anytime soon

Sweetbreads at Spur are very good. I had them prepared by Tamara Murphy once, amazing! So if Terra ever opens - try there!
