Going to Mystic/Groton area last weekend of April and the following Mon and Tues on business. Looking for a place for oysters and seafood and decent hole in the wall foodee places for eclectic food. Any chowhound input?

  1. Water St Cafe (Stonington)...hands down :)

    1. I suggest the lower Tavern at the Danial Packer Inn in Mystic. While oysters are not listed on the lunch menu, they will usually open some for you if you ask. Try the roasted garlic app and stuffed portabella.

      1. Try The Pita Spot in Mystic for ethnic .
Go Fish in Old Mystic Village for oysters, but they are pricey
