What's on your must try list of restaurants?

I have a list that is getting longer and longer. More places are being added than scratched out...there is only so much eating out you can do! What are your top places that you would love to try in the near future?
Mine are (in no particular order):
-Jun-I
-Kitchen Galerie
-Piment Rouge (I'm going next week)
-Kazu
- Spicy Island
-BBQ Abu Abdeel
-5 Guys Burger
-Nonya
-Amelio's (I've never been!)
-Tourtiere Australienne

  1. Places I've never been to in the greater Montreal area?

Poulet à la Campagnard (Haggisboy was raving about it as a chicken to watch television with)

Have done all the others on your list save one: after the 5 Guys in Washington-Dulles, I don't need to repeat here (it wasn't bad, but it's just a burger).

      1. You mean places I tried and YOU must try, or places I must try and have yet to?

If I'm doing both I'd say:

Tried already (in no particular order):

$$ Bistro Justine (great lunch specials)
$ Tint (Vietnamese and Thai cheap, good, and just discovered it... see my post)
$ Bofinger (It's a chain I know but rib to price ratio is good!)
$ Pantere Verte (2 loc now... best falafel ever, unlike anything else you've tried)
$$ Nostos (FRESH FRESH Greek on L'Acadie near Marche Centrale)
$ Phayathai (Love the tofu panang.. if you never had it HAVE IT at $10 you'll be hooked!)

        Never tried but want to:

        $$$$ Jun-I

          Places YOU want to try.
          I'm a regular at Nostos.
I love panang tofu but have never tried Phayathai's version; will keep in mind.

Bofinger is terrible Im amazed to see someone mention it as a must try.....

I know it's not great so maybe I should not have threw it in there... I was just thinking of the fact that a $10 rib meal is hard to come by that's all. But maybe price shouldn't be a factor in all of this.

Note that the original Bistro Justine on Van Horne is kaput. (sad, I know!)

They do have 2 similar locations (Justine Bistro à Vin and La Terrasse Justine) but these are slightly different concepts & price points.

            3. Lately I've been crossing more off of my list than adding - it's been a good few months for restaurant visits...Still to try are Les 400 Coups, Jun-i, A Table, Laloux (haven't been since the latest chef took over the kitchen), F Bar, Le Locale, and Maria Bonita.
