Ideas for Lunch in Brattleboro area tomorrow? (4/30)

We are meeting some friends in Brattleboro tomorrow and then travelling on towards the Manchester/Dorset area. Since we are starting from different directions, Brattleboro's the spot where we join forces, and we'll be getting there around lunch time. I searched for lunch rec's in the area but didn't find much, and much of it was from a while back. Can anyone offer some current advice?

We'll be having an early-ish and substantial dinner, so I'm thinking along the lines of soup/salad/burgers/sandwiches. Our traveling companions aren't big on "spicy" so Mexican or Asian is probably a no go.

My favorite is Amy's Bakery. Love their salads and they have soups, sandwiches, great baked items, and a view of the river out back. They are across the street from the block with the bookstore that tragically burned a couple of weeks ago.

Fireworks has a pretty diverse menu with soups, salads, sandwiches, and brick oven pizzas. They're open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays: http://fireworksrestaurant.net/

Note though that there was a big fire in downtown Brattleboro about a week ago, and a lot of downtown was shut down during the clean-up. I haven't been since then and live about 30 minutes away in Keene, so maybe someone else on this board could give a more current update about what's open. I would recommend calling ahead just to make sure whatever place you settle on is actually open post-fire.
