Location for honeymoon in Israel

Two Hounds would like to spend our honeymoon in Israel during sukkot. Any thoughts on romantic hotels where we could spend chag and eat very well? We might keep one day while we are there. Near the beach would be a big plus. We are willing to spend fairly liberally. Thanks, col tov.

It's not near the beach, but have you looked into the Carmel Forest Spa Resort? I haven't stayed there, but I've heard great things about it. No kids allowed and it is very quiet (my definition of romantic these days :)

We had our honeymoon in Israel. We went to Eilat and stayed at the Queen of Sheba in their 'romance' room. Gorgeous hotel, gorgeous pool but once dinner is over the enire city is basically done for the day unless you are into the bar/club scene.

I would look into hotels in Tiberias (Tverya).. Its where many israeis go for vacation. The hotels are largely along a boardwalk right by the water, with lots of nighttime activities (moonlit cruises, shopping, etc.). There are also a bunch of really nice restaurants, with a lot more ambience than just about any other kosher places I have ever been to (a few places are out over the water), I have never been there on a shabbat/yom tov but can only assume the hotels at least do meals.
