Help with choice for one night (sunday) in Milan

We received some great advice for our upcoming trip to Florence and we're hoping to get some additional help in choosing a restaurant for our short stay in Milan. We will be spending Sunday night in Milan (arriving that morning from the US) and we're looking for a place that serves traditional Milanese food, moderately priced, either close to the Stazione Centrale (where our hotel is) or easily accessible to it. We expect to be somewhat jet lagged, and would prefer to eat earlier (7pmish) to later. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There are few restaurants I could suggest. One is Sempione 42, corso Sempione (received many positive reviews, several articles and many friends of mine were impressed by Andrea Alfieri's capabilities as a chef). Cavallaro ai Navigli, a little more adventurous kind of cuisine which has some international nuances. Pont de Fer, one of my fav but true also I don't look for tradiitional food so I am more attracted to what's new and Pont de Fer is definetely "new cuisine". Sorry don't have their telephone number or address but easy to find reference on them.
