The Mandarin Hotel inside theTime Warner building has a great overlook of Columbus Circle and Central Park. Food is good, drinks are great and view is wonderful.

Robert (not Robert's) on the top floor of the Design Museum at Columbus Circle has great views of the Circle and of Central Park--and the food is very imaginative and tasty as well as not exorbitantly priced. If that isn't enough, the museum it sits on top of is first-rate. (You don't have to buy a museum admission to eat at the restaurant.) I think the actual address is 2 Columbus Circle.

Robert is great, make sure to go before sundown for the best views. Also a nice place to go for drinks.
