looking for tomato paste in a tube

hello i live in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island
i have a hard time finding tomato paste in a tube is there somewhere i can order it on line?

I found the tube tomato paste in a greek supermarket in Kitsilano in Vancouver, can't remember the name of the shop, but there is another one called the Parthenon they may have it both stores are on West Broadway about 2 blocks apart dont know if they fill on line orders.

They definately have it at the Parthenon, several different brands (some double and some triple strength)

You may have been thinking of Minerva's as the other greek supermarket?

Here, in Vancouver, I have found tomato paste in a tube at Save-On; which leads me to wonder whether the Overwaitea store in P.A. would be able to order for you...

i know this sounds weird, but i found some at the London Drugs in Abbotsford - you might want to check it out the next time you visit Nanaimo..

Funny you should ask, i always stock up on it at Goats on Roof market in Coombs. Not far from you at all.....

I don't know why tomato paste isn't generally marketed in this way in north america, it's so much more useful than having to crack a can when all you need is a small squeeze.

Another thing you can do is freeze unused tomato paste in ice cube trays - 1 TSP per tray cell and then store the frozen cubes in a freezer bag and use as needed.

Maybe http://www.gourmetwarehouse.ca/ here in Vancouver-if it's not on the site give them a phone call and ask sometimes small online places don't list every single product.

I'd order a dozen or so tubes to make it worthwhile though.
