Sunday night meal in London - any ideas

I am stopping in London for a Sunday night en route to Paris. I am looking for a reasonably priced restaurant / gastro pub that is open Sunday night (loads are closed). My husband is a Chef so a big foodie. We normally do Wagamamas, River Cafe and the other usual suspects but wanted to try something new. He isnt that much into pasta and doesnt fancy Chinese or Indian. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks ;0)

As already mentioned, Great Queen St, also Terroirs, Les Deux Salons, Arbutus, Quo Vadis are all excellent and a short walk from Covent Garden.

great queen street would be an easy covent garden option. or hawksmoor at seven dials for cocktails and burgers/steak. or hix.or the new st john hotel, just off leicester square.

There was a recent thread on Covent Garden.

It's not cheap - but if the River Cafe is ok I don't see why this wouldn't - how about The Square in Mayfair? It's close by and the only central London 2 star open on a Sunday (I think).

The Ledbury is also open on Sundays.
