Any thoughts on the best of these three? Any to avoid? Thanks.

I've eaten at Lukshon three times and A-Frame only once. Based off of my one meal at A-Frame I would not go back and I would goto Lukshon over it. I cannot comment on Red Medicine as I have not been.

When comparing Lukshon to A-Frame, I find that the drinks have more balance and the flavors of the food more complexity and depth. Everything I had at A-Frame was very one note.

Lukshon is much more posh & polished - service, space, presentation
A-Frame quite literally feels like a picnic (which is the restaurant's concept) with about 60 of your closest friends. It's loud, raucous, hard to carry on a conversation but also can be fun if that's what you're looking for.

Many like to compare the food but I find them very different - Lukshon, as i said, is far more polished & refined. I agree that the flavors & combinations are more complex and I would even say unexpected & unusual (in a good way). It's "restaurant quality" food that I would expect to get for that amount of money. They don't exactly hit it out of the park on every dish but overall very good.

A-Frame is more straightforward but I wouldn't say simple by means. To me A-Frame is stuff I'd like to whip up at home (if I could!) & eat w/ friends while hanging out. It's just tasty, bold, fun food.

I like them both equally but for very different reasons. I have not been to Red Medicine.

Lukshon if you want refinement, A-Frame if you want casual but extremely tasty, and Red Medicine if you like your restaurant critics outed.

i was very disappointed with A-Frame as well as Chego. In my opinion Roi has a very heavy hand on the sauce. Kinda off-putting.

On the other hand, I really liked Lukshon. Can't comment on Red Medicine though.

I've been to LUkshon 3x already and I cannot get enough!!!!!! LOVE everything about this spot.

Still haven't been to Red Medicine...was turned off when they first opened booting the critic...really class-less attitude.

A-Frame is good as well, but more for a fun dinner before going out since they don't take reservations and the wait is usually 40 min or so....and very casual dining that isn't too adventurous food-wise.
