Pancakes or French Toast for Dinner!
Hi everyone,
Sometimes I get in the mood to have a big platter of pancakes or french toast for dinner. There are some places that do have breakfast all day, but very few will include pancakes/french toast (sweet breakfast items) for dinner... most just have a couple egg dishes.
Any ideas where I can get pancakes or french toast for dinner? I'm okay with diner-style, as long as its clean and okay to eat in. Downtown or East GTA, if possible!
Thanks in advance!

Great question - wish I had a good answer for you as I've been peeking at this thread for awhile now. Golden Griddle's crepes were so bad that I wouldn't ever recommend anything else from there - but that's to be expected. Same with Frans. Wouldn't be surprised if The Counter offered them too, but it'd be a terrible rec as well!
I've had French Toast /w Foie Gras as a dinner appetizer from Brasaii before - but wasn't a fan. Wish I had a good rec for you!I realize that this is a downer-reply, but just my two cents anyways...you just made me pop a couple of Eggos in the toaster though - my backup quick breakfast-for-dinner staple :(

Just thought of another place -- Ontario Bistro at Dundas and Ontario. They are known for their pancakes. However, I don't actually know if they are still open, as their web site is down.

re: meatnveg
I know this is an old thread, but after having a late breakfast at Future today, I have to say -- don't do it. Worst breakfast I've ever paid for. Dry, overcooked eggs with soggy vegetables and limp potatoes, not to mention horrible coffee. BF and I agreed we would've had better at Boom, of all places.

I *think* that Terry's at Bellamy and Ellesmere (same plaza as Federick's) does all-day breakfast with the full breakfast menu. And honestly, it's the type of place that would probably make them for you anyway if you asked.
