Mother's Day Brunch in or near Poughkeepsie with no buffet?

I am looking for a mother's day brunch place in or near Poughkeepsie with great food and no buffet - my mom hates them! A place that would take reservations would be great, but if not we don't mind waiting a reasonable amount of time.

Thank you so much! We are meeting in the area for a mother's day food fest (including a trip to the CIA) so I'd love to treat her to a nice brunch on mom's day.

  1. For a casual option, you might want to check out Babycakes Cafe (http://www.babycakescafe.com/pdf/Brea...) on Collegeview. I really like their mozzarella pesto melt and brunch options, but I'm not a big fan of their dessert. I only like their baby chocolate chip cookies. Beech Tree Grill (http://beechtreegrill.homestead.com/m... ...scroll down for brunch menu) a few storefronts down is good too. I think they take reservations.

If you don't mind driving about 45 north, you might want to check out Another Fork in the Road (http://anotherforkintheroadmilan.word...) in Milan. I know it's a hike, but I've heard very good reviews about this place.

    Hope this helps!

    1. This thread just popped up when I was looking at another one and I wanted to mention that we're eating at Crave in Poughkeepsie tomorrow. They have a varied brunch menu and take reservations. And not a buffet.

I did just check Babycakes and their menu looks excellent, and probably cheaper than Crave with more selections.
