suggestions for Bel Air, Havre le Grace MD?
I'm going to be in Bel Air for a lacrosse tournement 7/15-17 and although familiar with Baltimore I've never been in this area. I suspect the seafood should be good. I'm not a big steamed crab fan but completely game for local color, smoked anything.
Check out Pairings Bistro in Bel Air and Clarence's Taste of New Orleans in Edgewood.

Any opinion about Price's Seafood in Havre de Grace? It's been suggested as "local color" type of place - which I generally like.

Price's is the go to crab house for steamed crabs in HdG. I've never eaten in the restaurant, but have had the crabs at many summer get togethers. Always good. If you go, be sure to comment back here on the rest of the offerings. I'd be curious to know.

Being from and living in Havre de Grace, i would highly recommend Laurrapin Grill. i go here a couple times a month. they have great cocktails and great food. if you're in hdg in july check out tidewater grill and sit outside next to the water. i like their burger with sprouts and avocado.

Price's pretty much delivered. The setting was just right under the awning at a picnic table lit by Xmas lights watching the boats drift by and the trains rumble past. The food was a bit above average but not local. A nod to the steamed clams and frown to the fish taco.
