Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

Best Saturday Brunch in Manhattan?

I'm trying to find a great Saturday brunch spot in Manhattan - I can work with just about any location, but would prefer to stay around the UES/Midtown/East Village, although not entirely opposed to anything on the west side.

I'll be going with about 2-3 other people. We're looking for the following requirements:

- Outdoor seating
- All-you-can-drink included
- Decent to great food (of course)
- Not too expensive ($20-$30 is reasonable)
- Allows reservations and/or doesn't have much of a wait

Any suggestions? I'm not sure if we're being too picky. We've already frequented the Sunburnt Cow and Parlor Steakhouse, but we're looking to try a new place.

I've seen reviews for Bondi Road (no outdoor seating), Paradou (outdoor seating almost looks to be inside?), The Sixth Ward (no outdoor seating?)... Contemplating trying the Upstairs of the Kimberly Hotel. Any advice on any of these places? If we can meet all the specifications that we'd like to have, that'd be the best, of course. :) All of your help is appreciated!

  1. Paradou's outside seating is in their back garden.

Is it really outdoors though? It looks like it's so covered that it almost feels indoors. But I'm just gathering that from photos I'm looking at. Thanks Kathryn!

        Yes, it's outside but covered.

    2. Under $30 with tax and tip and all you can drink and great food? If anyone knows of such a magical place, I would be there every day.

Haha, not necessarily with tax and tip. More concerned about the outdoor seating and unlimited drinks. I have to set my priorities, starting with beverages and sunshine. :)
