The Burger Joint - Coming to Mt. Kisco?

Saw a sign in the old Villa del Sol (if I remember correctly) location today that said "The Burger Joint" is going in there... looks like a popular chain around DC, but haven't been there myself. Any info?

not to go too far off topic, but burgers are starting to sprout like weeds- ridge hill- yonkers coming, elevation burger and yard house, mt.k the burger joint, eastchester johnny rockets, white plains westchester burger and cheeburger cheeburger and rye brook also westchester burger, 5 guys pelham

I'd actually like to try an In and Out Burger place but I don't think they're expanding to the east coast.

inn n out has stated in the past that they would not expand to the east coast. so probably not likely.if you do go west definitely try them, they are very good. also do yourself a favor and research their secret menu before going.at the time i wasn't aware of it- animal style appears to be very popular though

I actually contacted the family that owns In and Out years ago and they have no interest in expanding east unfortunately.

Unfortunately? Ahhh, c'mon, you can get burgers in scores of restos in the County as good or better. I & O is OK, but gimmicky, and, it's just a burger!

On further review, (and help from a friend who knows) Prime doesn't mean much with a burger, there is no "marbling" on a burger, not to mention that it is not "USDA Prime". And they don't say how long it's aged, could be 12 hours!

The test will be in the tasting, though. Anybody been to their White Plains joint?

Didn't know they had a White Plains place. WP has Westchester Burger (not good) and 5 guys and Cheeseburger Cheeseburger. Where is this place in WP?

My error-- mixed it up with Westchester Burger. This one is only in MtK. Don't know if it's open yet...

seems too soon to be open but there web site does have hours of operation and it is not marked as coming soon as some of the other locations are.unfortunately can't drive past it, so i am not sure

It still looks way too soon to open - when I was there the other day it was just a sign in the window with little else going on inside. Fingers crossed...

sounds great, but homebound for a bit so it will have to wait, there website lists it as if it is already open, is that possible?
