Anniversary Dinner

My husband and I are considering going to Sarasota for our first anniversary. We are looking for any recommendations for special occasion restaurants. Neither one of us are familar with the area so any suggestions would be appreciated. We got married in New Orleans and had our wedding meal at August and looking for a comparable restaurant although not necessarily French. Thanks in advance for your help!

    ooh August is killer. That'll be apples & oranges style wise, don't try to replicate that. I would go to Beach Bistro were I you. I also hear good things about Moziak but I haven't been there myself so I can't confirm.

      Thanks! Beach Bistro looks really nice but how does that compare to Derek's?

        Never been. BB is on the water though, I don't think Derek's is.

          We actually live at the beach in FL so having dinner at a restaurant on it isn't that big of a factor for us. BB looks really nice but a tad pricey.
