Lunch and Dinner in Charleston

i am going to be in Charleston this weekend and need a place to eat dinner on friday and lunch on saturday. i am looking for local cusine up thru something out of the ordinary at relatively casual places. if there is one that has outside seating, that would be a bonus. thanks!

    There are tons. Have you read through any of the posts here? Look at SNOB, High Cotton, 82 Queen, Cru Cafe, FIG, Cypress, Jestine's, Hominy Grill. Others will have other favorites. Cru has a nice porch for outdoor seating and the courtyard at 82 Queen is as Charlestony as it gets.

      yes i am starting to sift thru them. i also forgot to mention that im staying at the Holiday Inn airport. i will have a car but would love if i can walk to places as well.

        The only places you can walk to there is Chilis or Wendy's You'll be about 18 miles from the HD. Be aware that traffic into and out of town during rush hours is really awful.
