Had to laugh when I saw this on my tv list today.

Rick Bayless appears on a cooking show on PBS and the program guide once said he would be making "crap salpicon"

I saw that too, and the show was re-run the next day, and it was corrected. I guess somebody does pay attention to those descriptions once in a while. They are full of misspellings, drives me crazy!

Reminds me of my favorite menu typo. A wonderful restaurant in Flushing, NY for years featured an entire page of various preparations of "buffalo crap" (sic).

Btw, their CARP dishes were all delicious.

Similarly, the Times Square Ollie's Noodle Shop, 10 or 15 years ago, had an enormous blown-up menu as signage on its window, with Buffalo Crap listed as such several times in 72-point font. Ha! Thanks for the memory.
