Lobster roll or crab sandwich - where to eat near wharf?

Where near the wharf or walking distance from Pier 35 can we get an awesome lobster roll or crab sandwich? TIA

No worries re the lobster roll, been to Maine/Boston and had them there in the past, much better. As for the crab sand, had one at a resto on Pier 39. That's all we could manage that day, having spent the morning at GGB park/Presidio.

Don't come to San Francisco for a lobster roll - you're on the wrong coast for that.

If you don't mind a sit down table cloth place, try Scoma's on pier 47 and Jefferson. it's tucked behind the main drag on a finger pier. It's more on the pricey side, but for lunch and a really good crab sandwich that's served to you. That's the place. It's a San Francisco experience. It's definitely better than the street vendor crab sandwiches and clam chowder. Its walking distance from Pier 35, just west of the wax museum 2 1/2 blocks. If you go, let me know your thoughts. Good Luck!
