Corndogs in DE?
Learned today that my sister in law has never had a corndog. Not a cardinal sin to me or my family as far as food goes, but we decided if she has gone 29 years without one that the first need be exceptional. Any suggestions for a good ol' corndog?

We were just at Johnnies Dog House on Route 202 tonight and a lady sitting next to us was eating a corn dog. Seeing as I have never tried their version, I cannot say if they are exceptional. That said, if you are looking for a corn dog, JDH has them.
We just had a couple of chili dogs and french fries. Dogs were good as were the french fries. JDH is a chain I believe. Anyway, if you are in the area and have a desire for a hot dog or corn dog, JDH is a decent place to visit.

(302) 477-1440 Further north on Route 202 is Jimmy John's which is truly a neat little experience. It does not appear that they have corn dogs on the menu, but a phone call might confirm. Corn dogs aside, JJ's is a great little place for a hot dog/chili dog. They have an electric train that runs around up in the ceiling and lots of nostalgia on the walls. They had a fire back in May 2010, but reopened in Dec of the same year. Food Network featured them in their Best of Roadside Stands addition, for what it is worth.

re: scoopG
Jimmy John's is in another class from JDH. They make their own dog and rolls and they are short and plump unlike others. And they have birch beer. Definitely a fun place to stop and great place to take kids/grandkids
The Hot Dogs at Five Guys are Hebrew nationals all beef. They are grilled which adds to the flavor and they have a myriad of toppings.. (they get dinged for only having pickle relish not sweet relish... but oh well... ).
