Restaurants adjacent to Halifax Airport

We're flying in to Halifax, late afternoon, on a Saturday in September. staying at the Hilton Gardens, but can anyone suggest an alternative to their restaurant. Nothing fancy, just some place that knows how to cook food. Any suggestions welcomed, but remember we're carless that night.

You are out of luck; the airport really is in the middle of nowhere.

I'm afraid that you're out of luck if you don't have a car. Halifax's airport is out in the middle of nowhere. Your only other option, besides fast food in the airport, is the restaurant over at the Holiday Inn Express next door.

If you do have a car, you can drive one exit North to Enfield where there are some restaurants. Curly Portable's is a fun road house. Inn on the Lake is two exits South and has a pretty good restaurant.
