An Improvement in Script Behavior

meatme Apr 24, 2011 06:41 PM

For the past couple of months on one of my two machines, I've been unable to reply to a post, report a post, expand a collapsed post, click "re: username" to find and open a referenced post, click "Switch Board" in Hotposts, or do a number of other, similar things without simply being taken to the top of the page or somewhere else entirely.

As of today, all of these things work. Whatever you've done, CH folk, even if you've done nothing, please don't undo it.

I'm in the opposite situation. I run IE8 at home with InPrivate filtering, and none of the scripts work (click to expand one/all older posts, reply, etc) unless I turn it off.

My work runs an uber filter that blocks most everything. When I navigate between pages from my work machine, the history shows 4 to 8 interstitial filter violations.

    I liked simple better.

I finally just disabled "No Script" on FF because it was SO intrusive I got sick of it.
