Kiss Seafood: Just What I was Looking For
For those of you that can't bear to be so far from Japan this is one of the finest replications. San Fran, you're lucky. 5 seats at the bar, a couple tables, so no more than ten or so served at a time. Omakase was the way we went, and I haven't a regret. I no longer care for 99% of restaurants but here it is like being in someone's home. Not just anyone, but someone with great skills and is meticulous. You're in good hands. Crab soup in crab broth, many types of sashimi and nigiri (including the finest baby abalone I've had), a chawan mushi with bits of seafood that astounds. Homey cooking. I can't wait to return. This place ought to be swamped but somehow doesn't seem like it is.
