So I have this fig tree. And when I first moved to this location a lady down the street asked for some, which I gladly gave her. A few hours later she brought by some of these amazing cookies. I've found, since then that they are Cucidati. That older lady is, sadly, gone. Most recipes I've found call for dry figs, but she used the fresh. And I was wondering if anyone had a recipe or could point me in the direction for a recipe using fresh figs. Its about the only thing made with figs that I've liked and we'll be having tons of figs again this year.

  1. Very often, the ground fruits in Cucidati blend up as a rather dry mass that requires some water to loosen up. I suspect you could use fresh figs and forget about having to add any water.
