Noodle World-Sherman Oaks-Opening?

  • 6

I just drove by Noodle World, opening soon on Van Nuys Blvd in between Moorpark and Riverside.

Does anybody know anything about this spot?

Thanks,

Stuart

Based on photos on their Facebook page I figured out the address is the former location of Lannathai, which was more recently known as Thai Jasmine:

      4457 Van Nuys Blvd.
      Sherman Oaks, CA 91403

      -----
      Lannathai Restaurant
4457 Van Nuys Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403

    2. I've never been there, but there are branches in Old Town Pasadena, Alhambra and San Marino. There's also a listing on San Vicente in Brentwood, but it doesn't appear on the website:

      24 W Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105

      Noodle World
932 Huntington Dr, San Marino, CA 91108

      1. The ownership of Noodle World Sherman Oaks is related to the others, and it operated LannaThai since 2003, yet finally changing the concept to Noodle World.
But the construction is surely taking a long time. I only hope that fish pond in front has been removed.

Lannathai replaced an old pool supply business and that pool remained from that old business dating back to the 60's!

        2. Oohhh.... Their mint leaf chicken is DIVINE. Haven't had it for a few years, but they deep fry the egg and it is amazing. Crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, yummy eaten bite by bite with the dish.
